The biggest tip that I can offer for this game is to practice when to accelerate and when to decelerate. That is the biggest challenge that I have found while playing this game. Keeping a good balance and understanding when to speed up or slow down will ultimately get you a much better score in the long run. It is difficult to keep the egg in the basket, but it is also super addicting.
So if you find yourself getting frustrated by your scores, just take a step back and relax for a little before trying to get back into the game. It definitely might take some practice to get the timings down, but learning when to tap and when to let go is part of the game and that makes the game fun.

As far as when to tap and when to let go, I personally have found that when you are tipping backwards, you should tap the button to balance yourself out. I have also found that when you are in the air, letting go can also balance yourself out and make it so that you do not flip over when you land. Going up hills can also be tricky because if you accelerate too fast, you will tip backwards and crush your egg.

You want to ease yourself up the hills by barely holding your finger on the screen and accelerating up the hill slowly. I have found this to be the best action to take in order to get up safely. I cannot say that these methods are concrete, but I have noticed these patterns and found that they tended to work for me.
Another big tip for this game is to definitely utilize the ability to change the color of your egg and car. Doing this will give you something to play towards as you can work on collecting the coins in the game and changing how your car and or egg looks. Overall, I give Risky Road an 8/10. I think this game features great gameplay that is both challenging and easy to pick up at the same time. It is definitely a game that any beginner to pick up but also challenging enough for veterans to be challenged by the randomness of the game.

This game has a unique feel and amazing background art that I absolutely love. This is the perfect game for playing with your friends while you are waiting for something or just bored, or the perfect game to waste some time away. I found myself addicted to this game as soon as I started playing as it was a very simple game that was not overtaken by the sheer amount of advertisements.
Risky Road has great gameplay which is what I think makes this game so good. The game has only one control that you need to learn before you can play. I think the fact that this game has only one control is part of what makes it so good. The game seems like it has a lot going on, and for there to be only one control is kind of impressive to me. The gameplay is definitely one of the most fun experiences I had with some of my friends.
We were able to pass the phone back and forth and laugh and see who could get the highest score. I really like the gameplay because it was something that you could just hand to someone and they could play without having to go into depth explaining exactly how to play it.
I also love that the gameplay was not interrupted by advertisements. The game does feature two types of ads, but I have found that they have never been annoying to the game itself. The game only gives you a full screen advertisement once every five minutes which is refreshing because I have played some games that just spam you with them after each game you play. I think this is something that is awesome because often times I find myself getting bored looking at the same thing over and over. But with Risky Road, you feel as though you are in a different environment each time you play the game.
On top of having great background designs, the car and the egg itself are visually appealing and look like thought went into them. You have the ability to change the color of them. I almost wish that you could change the style of the car and egg, but that might be pushing it a bit much.

Risky Road also features unique tracks that are never the same. The tracks that you have to play on are randomly generated and no two tracks will ever be the same. You will notice the same type of obstacle or jump, but they are never in the same order as another track. I think this is great because it really keeps things fun and refreshing, as opposed to playing the same thing over and over again and feeling bored of the game.
I really do not think that there is anything about this game that I would drastically change. I can nitpick and pick out a few things that could be improved, but this game is so new that changes are bound to happen and these things might actually happen. One thing I could say would be a good change are adding more customizations into the game and allowing you to change the actual style of the truck or egg. Other than that, I think this game is completely solid and an amazing experience that anyone can enjoy.

Artwork: I give the artwork in Risky Road an 8/10. I think the game is on point when it comes to the artwork that it put into this game. The backgrounds are absolutely beautiful and definitely set the stage for the game. I think this is the first thing that many people notice in a game and seeing that it changes after each play through is refreshing so things are not stale and boring.
The tracks are beautifully designed and features different types of terrain and obstacles, all of which seem to be thought out and create a certain atmosphere about the game. I think everything done in terms of artwork was done well and thought out and not just thrown into the game with the intention of making a dollar.

Music and Sound Effects: I give the music and sound effects a 6/10. I think this is one of the areas that this game is lacking. There is no story, and the sound effects are just the bare minimum. This game would most definitely benefit from an elevator music soundtrack in the background to keep things crisp and brought together. The sound effects that are in the game such as the menu sounds and the crashing sound great, but I just wish there was a wider range of sounds implemented into the game.
Story and Originality: I give the story and originality a 9/10. Although there really is no story, I think it would be unfair to judge it on something that it never really claimed to have in the first place. As far as how original I think this game is, I think it is most definitely original. It might draw from other games, but it definitely stands out due to having to carry an egg and making sure that it doesn’t break. I think that is an absolutely great idea that is completely unique and well thought out.
General Gameplay and Addictiveness: I give the general gameplay and addictiveness a 9/10. I think the game features very solid gameplay that almost anyone can get into relatively easily. The gameplay is completely smooth and is not sloppy. There are no input delays which are definitely refreshing, and they definitely perfected their one control. The game is also very addicting. I think that having something to work towards such as the coin currency makes the game addicting to some.
To others, the ability to challenge your friends and compete with them in seeing who can get the best score is what makes it mostly addicting. Challenging yourself and trying to best yourself are what makes these types of games so addicting to most people.
